Donations Needed for Ginter Park Elementary School Pantry

GPRA supports a full snack pantry for Ginter Park Elementary School.  Please donate non-perishable and non-sugary snacks, individually wrapped, by contacting Prudence Justis, 804-837-6051, to arrange drop-off of your donation. Deadline September 18 for this round of donations.  Ninety-eight percent of GPES students are economically challenged, and your donations are appreciated.

Suggested snacks:  Goldfish; sandwich crackers with peanut butter; sandwich crackers with cheese; popcorn; trail mix; dried fruit; granola bars; juice boxes; graham crackers.

Brook Road Youth Farm Work Day! Thursday, September 16, 5:00 to 8:00 pm

Ginter Park Residents Association welcomes Duron Chavis and team, Happily Natural Day, and their Brook Road Youth Farm Project to Ginter Park.  Neighbors, come on out to the corner of Brook Road and Walton to meet Duron and his team and to help plant trees and perennials and to build a fence!

Ginter Place Yard Sale, Saturday, September 18, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, Laburnum House Parking Lot, 1350 Westwood Avenue, 15 participating households.  Come treasure-hunting!

We support our neighboring neighborhoods and increase your opportunities for fun, education, and neighborly connections by spreading the word about their events.
