Festive Fall Fun Afoot in Ginter Park!

JOIN us for some fun virtual Halloween activities where masks and distancing are not an issue!  These are easy to join in, and there are prizes for winners of contests!

Virtual  Pumpkin Decorating Contest!

  • Decorate your pumpkins any way you like-carved, painted, dressed-be creative! Post photos of your creations on the GPRA Facebook page, or attach to an email to, if you are not a FB user, by October 31.
  • All will be shared on social media and on our website. Remember that our Facebook page is private, with posts only available to vetted joiners, and that posts cannot be shared to other pages.
  • Grand Prize Winner will be announced November 1, and a prize will be awarded!

Virtual Costume Contest!

  • Are costumes your favorite part of Halloween?
  • Be ghoulish, spooktacular, hilarious, glamorous, your favorite character, but suitable for social media, please!
  • Post your photos of  child, adult, pet or family costumes to our GPRA Facebook page by October 31, or attach your photos to an email to
  • There will be one Grand Prize in each of the categories, Child, Adult, Pet and Family, to be announced November 1.

Virtual Decorating Contest!

  • Exterior Halloween Decorating your gift?
  • Create your exterior lighting and scene, and photograph!
  • Post your photos to the GPRA Facebook page, or attach to an email to by October 31. Photos may be posted to social media and the GPRA website.
  • Grand Prize Winner will be announced November 1.

Contest Prizes

Prizes will be specially selected gift cards for local businesses of interest for child, adult, and family winners:  Gelati Celeste, and Ruby Scoops for children and families; Azalea Garden Center and Once Upon a Vine for adults.








You’ve Been Boo’d!!

  • Surprise a neighbor or two with a bag of treats, accompanied by a GPRA-created You’ve Been Boo’d Cards!
  • Contact your District Rep for Cards.  To identify your District Rep, visit; select Committees on the Menu; then District Reps for a list, their emails and a Map to determine your district.
  • You’ve Been Boo’d Cards encourage neighbors to pass on the Boo! and Halloween cheer to others.

Participate in one or all activities!
