Virtual Public Meeting on Inclement Weather Shelter Tuesday, January 11, 6:00 pm
Notice from the offices of City Council District 2, Katherine Jordan, and District 3, Ann-Frances-Lambert:
On behalf of Councilor Jordan and Councilor Lambert, I am reaching out to invite you to participate in a virtual meeting with City and Commonwealth Catholic Charities staff and leadership and community members on the current operations and plans for the City’s inclement weather shelter at the Quality Inn on Arthur Ashe Boulevard. The meeting will focus on information sharing about current services being provided, overview ongoing operations strategies, provide updates on anticipated operational timelines, and allow for residents to raise questions or concerns. Operation of the shelter is an incredibly vital and valuable service that we understand requires significant cooperation and collaboration with neighboring communities and residents, and we would welcome your participation and perspective.
The meeting will take place this coming Tuesday, January 11th at 6:00pm, via Zoom. See below for the Zoom link (no pre-registration required):
Looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday. Thank you in advance for your time, and for everything you do for your community!
