Ginter Park Elementary School Field Day!

A Call for Volunteers!

Ginter Park Elementary School will have Field Day, Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am K through 2nd Grade, and from 12:00 to 2:30 pm, 3rd through 5th grade.  Volunteers are needed!  From Prinicipal Lucy Jones:

Volunteer Roles would consist of the following:

  • Manning the stations – setting up the games, reminding students of the game rules, determining winners (when appropriate) refilling stations (some are water games) , reorganizing games between each rotation
  • Each game is 15 minutes long- the volunteers will manage the time to remind classes when to rotate

It’s a pretty low-key event….no heavy lifting, but may require a bit of walking around the school campus,  as we have games  setup in the field and on the blacktop near the garden.

Just a reminder that all volunteers will have to wear their masks at all times.  We are still following the mask mandate while on school property, that includes the playground and other outdoor areas.

Thanks again for your support!!!

By the way, Principal Jones will be attending the GPRA Annual Picnic, so do come out to say hello to her and to applaud her good work leading GPES!
