The Social & Events Committee is the engine that drives festive social events and fundraising events for the association.  The Chair, event coordinators and committee members create, plan, host and work social gatherings throughout the year.  Porch Parties, Annual Picnics, Cinco de Mayo, Ice Cream Socials, Fall Barbecue, the Holiday Party-it’s all about bringing neighbors together for social connections, for building a sense of community, and for fun.

The Events arm of this team develops and hosts fundraising events, which benefits the GPRA treasury, so that the association can continue to invest in City trees to replenish our canopy; in  beautifying and maintaining common greenspaces; in funding neighborhood gatherings to facilitate connections and information-sharing; to fund the newsletter, website and other communication tools. GPRA, a non-profit organization, also donates to charities that serve our neighborhood and the broader community.
