Ginter Park Gazette

Thursday, March 16, 2023

A bimonthly publication of the Ginter Park Residents Association Communications Team, free to all Subscribers.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”  Margaret Mead

While GPRA’s mission is more modest than changing the world, our goals are to build connections in our community and to provide an array of services that are carried out to enhance our neighborhood and to serve its best interests. To carry out our mission and goals requires teams of volunteers.

April is National Volunteer Month, and the theme this year is “United We Serve.” Throughout April, GPRA will shine a light on our volunteers and recognize their contributions of time, energy, talents and skills to our community. They inspire us. But, it’s still March, and we are campaigning for Volunteers that are sorely need for some teams.

One team that is critical to building connections and to conveying useful information throughout the neighborhood is our team of Block Captains. Prudence Justis leads our team of District Representatives and Block Captains. Here is an important message from Prudence with a Signup Genius link to volunteer.

Calling all neighbors! Interested in getting involved but not sure how? Please consider toe role, Block Captain. It’s a fun way to get to know the people around you and it’s as easy as a click on the link below. Please signup before our next meeting which is Tuesday, April 11, 2023. You don’t have to come to the meeting but please sign up by that date. All are welcome.
